We created Local Vacation Homes to give those places—and the people who offer them—a space to tell their story. Our goal is to make vacation rental discovery more personal while helping independent owners and property managers build their presence online.

The experience behind Local Vacation Homes includes nine years serving as Director of Operations for a vacation rental management company, along with more than 25 years in online marketing and a background in web development and hosting.
That combination shapes our approach: give travelers useful information, give owners practical marketing options, and make room for the local knowledge that brings a destination to life.

Local Vacation Homes is a vacation rental discovery and listing platform. The accommodation is provided by the independent owner, property manager or provider identified in the listing or booking process.
Explore the listing.
Review the photos, amenities, location and property details. Confirm that the home fits your group and travel plans.
Review the reservation.
Follow the listing’s inquiry or booking link. Before paying, confirm who handles your reservation and review the full price, cancellation policy and rental terms.
Connect with your provider.
Direct questions about availability, property features, check-in and your stay to the owner, manager or booking provider shown with your reservation.
Some listings link to third-party booking providers, including Expedia. When a listing uses an affiliate link, Local Vacation Homes may earn a commission from eligible bookings. Reservations completed on a provider’s website follow that provider’s checkout process and applicable terms.
